She stated the chef ONLY cooks them this ONE WAY. She asked of there was anything else we needed and I told her my eggs were under-cooked and asked if she could take them back. White slime was dripping down over the hash. When another server brought out our breakfasts, I checked the eggs while she was there because they were very loose and sure enough they were half raw. I Ordered Eggs Benedict with corned beef hash and the "Crave potatoes" I specifically asked for my poached eggs to be cooked medium well and our server assured me that was fine. He was upbeat, friendly and ready to accommodate but not very attentive. My first red flag was the lack of patrons in the restaurant at 8:30 am on a Sunday morning. We have been looking for new restaurants to try out and Saw CraVE Restaurant listed as one of the better places to go. This has been on our mind for days and really seems to be crossing a line for child labor. She was keeping an eagle eye on tables and clearly working harder than any of the waitstaff!! While is admirable to show your family the ropes of an independent business, this really seemed to cross the line and was clearly not a one off, bring your child to work situation. She makes 20.00 a day and has been misled to think she's only the hostess. This child is 10 and has been working here for years which has been attested to by multiple people. Now for the disturbing part.a small child was working hard bussing tables serving plates of food, taking all names and seating parties clearly more than a hostess. The potatoes casserole was lukewarm and didn't taste fresh. Mushroom omelette had a good amount of fresh mushrooms. The French toast on special was fantastic. $12.We had a girls' brunch here over the weekend. Add pulled pork, chorizo or soyrizo for $2. $11.-HSĭeep-fried tortillas make poufy, crunchy pillows for any-style eggs, refried pinto beans and sauce with a kick (on my visit, smoky chipotle ranchero). Here, black-bean cakes covered in melted Chihuahua cheese serve as the base of the dish for a memorable twist on the same ol’, same ol’. The brightness of the tomato sauce, the garnish of queso fresco and the pliable pan-fried tortillas set this take apart from the pack. Another bite of perfect black beans, tender tortillas and over-easy eggs and I know it’s just prime ¡Salpicon! $10.-HS One bite of this candy-red sauce and I’m almost convinced it’s prime tomato season. Putting the Bayless empire up against humble taquerias is a David and Goliath move, but you’ll side with the big guy once you taste the oh-so-soft housemade tortillas, the orange-yolked farm eggs and the beautiful blistered tomato sauce.
